Thanks, Jon, for researching this. Before I will consider voting for a strike, I want to see a clear-headed understanding from the union leadership of how this will likely play out. I might have left the meeting too early tonight, but at 5:50pm when I did leave (to go perform my function as faculty advisor of the history honor society/club), I didn't get this impression.

The Governor's State Strike (sic) Jonathan links to seems to have been a success--at least judging from this one article. I'll take that as a good omen.
