While I observe in grade schools as part of my education schooling I witness kids listening to Eminem, Wiz Khalifa, and others. Some of Eminem's material makes me queasy at 21 years old. And Wix Khalifa has quickly found that he doesn't need to be creative as long as he sings about smoking lots of pot and hooking up with women. As a kid I grew up listening to much of the "gangster rap" that came out in the 90's. Big Tymers, Lil Wayne, Dr. Dre's 2001 album. I could rap every word to sir-mix-alots "I like big butts" when I was not even in my teens. Of course my parents wouldn't have allowed me to listen to it so I did it while they weren't looking.
